Windows Vista issues...

• The "buy now" button does not work in Vista therefore, you must return to this website, or the website you first discovered the software to order.
• d3drm.dll is not included with Windows Vista.  Download that file here.  Place the file in to your "c:\program files (x86)\accorg\ophelias bingo world\" folder.  Without this file the software will not finish a round.

Windows 7 issues...

• IBA Pattern Editor can not save a new pattern in to the IBA Common Folder located @ "c:\program files (x86)\common files\iba"

Our trial version and full version use the same setup file.  You only need your registration code which you should have received from regnow in order to enable all the features of <software>.

To enter this code...

If your software has expired:  When you attempt to start the software it should prompt you to "Enter Key".  Press this button and enter your license key information. (you may cut & paste)

If your software has not expired:  You should see a "Enter Key" prompt during the reminder screen.  You can press this button and enter your license key information or you may start the software click "Help | Enter Registration Key" and enter the information.  (you may use cut & paste)

Depending upon what option you used you may have to restart the software in order for the full version to take affect.

note:  Enter the registration key before starting any new projects or loading projects you have previously created.  In certain cases the software will partially suspend itself and request a restart.

If you are having trouble downloading our software from regnow or any other website, attempt to download the software directly from our site.

The software retrieved from other websites may be in two parts; a small part (100kb or less) which tracks the download so that proper financial credit will be rendered unto affiliates  and the larger part which is our software setup file.  Our setup file is automatically downloaded by the "small part" when you execute it.

• "The Parameter is Incorrect" when attempting to print.

• Software is rolling out  a blank page between each card.
  • Before you start a print run, print 2 or 3 cards first.  Then print the remainder of your cards. 
  • We are looking in to the cause of this issue.
• "Not Enough Storage is Available to Process This Command"
  • Reduce Print Quality by either selecting a lower quality or reducing dpi to300 or less.  (This is a memory related issue)

• Play ding can now be played continuously without waiting for a number to be called.
• The way manual calling is done has changed.  Instead of one long line, you get a line big enough to put in your next number.  Press Enter and the number will call.  Press Remove and the number will be Removed.

Added

• You can now select a sound to play for the ding on the setup screen.  Click the sound tab and select your sound file or windows event sound.

• The timer is now active during manual calling.

• Play Ding feature when using manual calling.  This will prompt the caller to go ahead and call the next number.  (Optional Feature, Disabled By Default)

• This version will now use Bingo Card Maker project file pictures.  If you enable it in the options.  Click "Project File | Use Pictures"

Bugs

  • Check Spool Settings
    • Make sure the printer driver software is not trying to store every page you are trying to print in to memory before printing. Select option to print before last page is spooled.

New Features

• Game Sessions - Allows you to pre-select patterns for the next "x" rounds.
  • Game Sessions feature will use patterns embedded in the project file overriding the general list.
  • Select patterns the way you always have, except now when Game Sessions are enabled you get to select multiple patterns at a time.  The screen needs a bit of polishing and hinting but its basically done.
  • In edition, when a project is loaded that uses its own pattern list, the pattern selection button is disabled on the setup screen.
  • You can also disassociate the patterns from the ground.  Typically, when you change rounds it will also update the pattern as well.  With this option, if you choose to have multiple patterns per found you can simply use the +Pat and -Pat buttons.

• Invalid Cards - If you wish to block a card from winning you can put that card in here.  This is useful if a person leaves a game early and turns in their card.
  • Only works with auto playing cards.
  • Works better with games that do use the internal game/round count.
    • The round count feature causes one player to use multiple cards.  Depending upon the number of cards remaining to be played, many cards may have to be invalidated.
• Marquee Access
  • You can now add your own messages to the marquee.  They only display when the software has no other information to display.
• You may now select your own bonus/ spoiler/ super bonus ball number.

Trialing

• We are trialing to see if people like the current number to display in lime green and the previous number displayed in yellow on both the standard information grid and the numbers called grid.
  • Added options to allow to change the color.  Changing the colors to white effectively disables this feature.

Fixed

• The first page last page feature was simply a disaster waiting to happen if it hadn't already happened.  Fixed it so that you can change the number of cards used before each round and the software will now prompt you for the starting and last page when you open the project.
• Parameter not correct error when trying to print cards.

Changed

• All Information boxes are now black with white fonts by default.  The only differences is the numbers called boxes and winners boxes.  They remain black background and lime fonts.
• Information regarding the calling method has been changed.  The new wording is as follows...

• If using a restored game because of a system crash etc, the calling method information will display with a red background.
• The name of the pattern will now appear above the pattern.

Restored

• Standard File Checking Method.  This method was removed and auto play was implemented.  Now, you can have the best of both worlds.  You can now set which cards you wish to auto play and which cards you wish to use via the standard mode.
  • The standard method of checking cards could verify up to 1 million cards per session.  This is because this method of standard cards does not "play along" with the customers.  It only "catches up" the card when you check to verify it.

• Natural Calling
  • Prefer not to have number files appended together i.e. 40 + 2 = 42.  Then Natural Calling is for you.  Each number will have its own "wave" file so that calling sounds more natural.
    •   If you wish to lend your voice to this work let me know.  I'll give you a free copy of all our software if your work is selected.
      • I need all the letters A-Z and dash.
      • I need all the numbers 1 - 250.
      • Calling must be clear and static free.
      • 16bit 22khz mono PCM is the preferred format.
      • File format must be LetA and Num001
• United Kingdom Bingo or 90 Ball Bingo does not work, it will work in the future.
  • I have created an alternate version of this card class that is more straight forward than the one being used.  This version does work. 
  • There is some confusion as to how the 90-ball lay is suppose to be done.  If anyone has any info let me know.  The problem is that, is 90-ball bingo 9 columns of 10 rows each or 9 columns of varying lengths.

  • The software does not let cards win that have already won and this has gone unnoticed until now.  I have added a feature that will allow a user to unlock those cards so they can continue to win through the next pattern.

• Single frame patterns like "Letter Z" declared winners after the first two or three numbers were called if using the project file.

• Erroneous errors regarding some pattern classes not displaying properly.
• United Kingdom 90 Ball Bingo Card Class reported as Invalid Class.

• You may now determine if you want the computer to display the winners.
• You may now determine if you want the computer to pause after a card has won.
• The software is now updated using the IBA Bingo Card Maker 1.15.0 project file version.  This means that the project files created with this version of IBA Bingo Card Maker will work correctly with this software.

• There was a problem with the check card system.  It was stating that the card displayed on the flashboard did not win.  However, it was displaying the card 1 page number had won.

• When a number is entered for an invalid column the system no longer displays a zero in the number called field.  It displays a message telling you that the number entered is invalid.

Added

• A feature that tells the system you wish to use all the numbers in every column.  This is useful if you wish to use multiple patterns in one round.  Access the feature by clicking "Options | Use All Columns"  Do this BEFORE starting your round, otherwise the system will go out of synch.

• The BCM project now controls how many rounds there are each game via the game count option.
• You may now change patterns in the middle of a game.
• The software automatically plays each card in the background and will tell if a person has won a pattern.
• You may remove the last number by typing "\\" as the next number.  This only works for manual calling and the number of "\" must match the digit count.

• Once again the function keys were disassociated with their functions.  This has been fixed.

• Flashboard now recognizes game count.  Click "Project File | Set Game Number" to set game number.

• minor fixes

• The buttons operate correctly.  Voice call and and Call 2 now perform as they should, along with the Pause Button.

• When using patterns that do not require certain columns, the quantity of numbers [default 15] associated with those columns will not be assessed by either "numbers called" or "numbers remaining".  For example.  If you are using the 4 corners pattern, only columns B and O are used.  I, N, and G are not used.  So, instead of ball count being displayed as 75, it will be displayed as 30.  Because B[15] + O[15] = 30.  If all of the numbers are called out, it will show as 30, not 75.

• Complete compatibility with IBA Bingo Card Maker version 1.11 and above.
• You will be able to download and print bingo card maker project files uploaded to our website.

• If you used manual calling you have to enter the numbers perfectly or the system would malfunction.  [Solution:  Fixed in Version 1.08 BETA 2]

Added the ability to disable free space.

Pattern Files have been updated to version 2.04.

A new pattern file format is being used which is incompatible with previous version.  This should in no way affect your software.

The Series file format has slightly changed.  Re-Create your series files using IBA Bingo Card Maker.
